Here are some of the beautiful places I’ve explored recently β€” all completely free to visit and perfect for families, whether you’re after a short stroll, a scenic view, or a peaceful nature escape.


1 & 2. Castell Dinas BrΓ’n – Llangollen

🏰 Medieval castle ruins perched on a hilltop in the Clwydian Range.
Difficulty: Moderate (steep uphill climb)
Duration: Under 1 hour
Top tip: Take a break on the bench near the start β€” the view is stunning.
