πŸ“Œ Group Purpose

Walk With Confidence is a women-only walking group based in North Wales. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women to enjoy the outdoors, build confidence, and connect with others. Some walks are family-friendly and children or dogs may be welcome – always check the event description for specific details.


βœ… Group Rules

  1. Respect & Kindness
    Treat all members with respect. No discrimination, judgment, or negativity will be tolerated.
  2. Social Walks – Not Guided Hikes
    All walks are social, voluntary meetups, not professionally guided or instructed events.
  3. Punctuality
    Please arrive on time. If you’re running late or can’t attend, notify the organiser as early as possible.
  4. No-Shows
    If you can’t attend a walk you booked onto, you must let us know as soon as possible.
    Repeated no-shows without notice may result in not being able to book future walks.
  5. Responsibility
    You are fully responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being during the walk.
  6. Children & Dogs
    • Children are welcome on selected walks (see event info).
    • You are fully responsible for your child(ren).
    • Friendly dogs are welcome on specific walks – they must be kept on a lead at all times.
  7. What to Bring
    Suitable footwear & clothing, snacks, water, any personal medication, and sun/rain protection.
  8. Weather-Dependent Events
    Walks may be postponed or cancelled in the event of unsafe weather (e.g. heavy rain, strong winds). Always check the group for updates.
  9. Zero Pressure Zone
    Nervous about joining? We understand! Send a private message before the walk – we’re here to help you feel at ease.

  • You are taking part at your own risk.
  • The organiser is not liable for any injuries, loss, or accidents that may occur.
  • You have read and understood the walk details, including difficulty and terrain.
  • You are physically capable of completing the walk and will walk within your limits.
  • You will act responsibly, especially when walking with children or dogs.
  • You understand that Walk With Confidence is not a qualified hiking or mountain leader group.
